Right in the centre of St Albans on Chequer Street, our Wenzel’s bakery is a popular stop for fresh food in this historic city.

With shops, cafés and plenty of visitors nearby, it’s an easy place to pick up something freshly made during the day.

We bake our bread fresh each day, which is used across our fresh-filled sandwiches, baguettes and rolls, all made with generous, delicious sandwich-fillings. Our sourdough loaves are also a great option if you’re taking something home.

Our sausage rolls and savoury bakes are always a great choice, while our sweet range includes fresh donuts, muffins, Yummies and pastries.
