The Spirit of Christmas: Giving back with Wenzel's

It’s a cliche, but Christmas really is all about giving. At Wenzel’s we’re proud to be part of a community that supports each other and, for the Christmas season 2023, we’re going to be giving back to the less fortunate people in our community. We’re teaming up with homeless charity Crisis to try and spread a little bit of Christmas spirit to the people who need it most.

To Crisis, Love Wenzel’s

First off, we’re donating £5,500 to the charity. Then, between the 24th-28th December, we’ll be donating food to three Crisis hotels and the Crisis Centre. We’ll also be sending out our elves to post a little book of offers under Wenzel’s customers’ doors (if you’re on the nice list). 

That’s what we’re doing, but we need your help too. That’s why we’re giving the amazing Wenzel’s community the option to donate to Crisis every time they buy in-store. Over the festive period, there’ll be a QR code next to the till at your local Wenzel’s. Just scan the code and input your donation. All we’re asking is that you donate the price of a delicious Wenzel’s americano (£2.99) – and if you can donate more, great!

We’ve chosen to start off with the price of the best coffee around (Wenzel’s, of course), because we know that times are tough for everyone at the moment. But if you want to give more, you could always based your donation on different Wenzel’s treats, bakes and meals. We’ll be stocked up with Christmas treats like our Snowman Croisnuts, our Reindeer Croisnuts Mince Pies, Festive Panini, and our Christmas Slice – so, whatever you want for Christmas this year, we’ve got it at Wenzel’s. You could even give the price of one of our platters – the perfect food for your office Christmas party – and really get into the spirit of things.
