1. About the Scheme

1.1 The Wenzel’s Loyalty Scheme (“the Scheme”) is operated by Wenzel’s The Bakers LTD (“Wenzel’s”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By participating in the Scheme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 The Scheme is available through the Wenzel’s mobile app, available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store).

1.3 Wenzel’s reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Scheme or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Scheme is open to individuals aged 16 or over.

2.2 To participate, you must create an account on the Wenzel’s app using a valid email address and complete the registration process, including phone number verification where required.

2.3 Only one account per person is permitted. Duplicate accounts may be closed without notice.

3. Sign-Up Bonus

3.1 On successful registration, new members will receive one (1) loyalty stamp credited to their account.

3.2 This stamp will unlock a sign-up reward entitling the member to a free donut and a free coffee, redeemable at any participating Wenzel’s store.

3.3 The sign-up reward expires 30 days from the date it is issued. Expired rewards cannot be reinstated or exchanged.

4. Earning Stamps

4.1 Stamps are earned on qualifying purchases made at participating Wenzel’s stores. The number of stamps earned is determined by the total order value after any discounts have been applied:

4.2 Stamps are awarded per transaction, not per item. A single transaction resulting in a total order value of £1.00 or more (after discount) will earn one stamp. A single transaction of £20.00 or more (after discount) will earn two stamps. The maximum number of stamps earned per transaction is two.

4.3 Stamps can be earned on orders placed through the Wenzel’s app, in-store via POS, or through third-party delivery aggregators (e.g. Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat).

4.4 For orders placed via POS or delivery aggregators where the member is not logged into the app at the point of purchase, a QR code will be printed on the customer receipt. Scanning this QR code via the Wenzel’s app or website will credit the stamps to the member’s account.

4.5 Each receipt QR code can only be claimed once. Stamps cannot be claimed retrospectively for transactions where no QR code was generated or where the QR code has already been redeemed.

4.6 Stamps have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another member, or sold.

5. Rewards

5.1 Once a member has collected nine (9) stamps, they may redeem one of the following rewards:

5.2 Only one reward may be selected per nine stamps collected. Upon redemption, the nine stamps are deducted from the member’s account.

5.3 Rewards expire 30 days from the date they become available. Expired rewards cannot be reinstated, exchanged, or substituted.

5.4 Rewards are subject to product availability at the point of redemption. If a chosen reward item is unavailable, the member may select an alternative eligible item from the same reward category. No cash alternative is offered.

5.5 Rewards must be redeemed via the Wenzel’s app at a participating store. They cannot be redeemed online or through third-party delivery platforms.

5.6 Rewards are for the personal use of the member and are non-transferable.

6. Digital Wallet

6.1 Members may add their loyalty QR code to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for convenience. This is optional and does not affect the functionality of the Scheme.

7. Account Management

7.1 Members are responsible for keeping their account details up to date.

7.2 Wenzel’s reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account where it reasonably suspects fraudulent activity, abuse of the Scheme, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

7.3 In the event of account termination, any unspent stamps and unclaimed rewards will be forfeited.

8. Data Protection

8.1 Personal data collected through the Scheme will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8.2 For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please refer to the Wenzel’s Privacy Policy, available on our website at www.wenzels.co.uk.

9. Liability

9.1 Wenzel’s accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, system failures, or interruptions to the app or Scheme that are beyond our reasonable control.

9.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10. General

10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2 Wenzel’s reserves the right to modify the reward structure, stamp thresholds, eligible items, and expiry periods at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately and will be communicated through the app.

10.3 Participation in the Scheme does not create any contractual relationship beyond these Terms and Conditions.
